Nature Trail

The west half of the Nature Trail is eroded rivulets and exposed rocks

Small shallow puddles will form on the trail after a heavy rain

The picnic area off the parking lot at the trailhead is clean and inviting

A hitching post for horses is provided near the parking lot

By trail courtesy, bicycles yield to hikers, and hikers yield to horses

Erosion features on the west half of the trail can be several inches deep

Benches and trashcans are provided regularly along park trails

Crosswalks are provided

when needed for trails crossing

the main road

Cyclists are allowed on the Nature Trail, but equestrians are prohibited
